Location
About 1 km into the mountains above the upper entrance to Fornalutx. The road to the Casita is narrow, steep and curved! The Casita Rustica is a newly restaurated house and a very nice place for hikers and all those who seek remoteness and quietness. It is at some 5 minutes driving from Fornalutx, and about 15 minutes to Port de Sóller and the beaches.

Distribution / equipment
The small casita is divided into a combined, some 30 sqm large living-/dining room and open kitchen (with everything you need for cooking). The bedroom is some 20 sqm large and is equipped with a 150 x 190 cm double bed, an extra bed for a child and fitted wardrobes.

The bathroom with shower and toilet is nicely done and in a modern-rustic mix. The living room has a sofa, open chimney and Sat-TV. Two roof windows make the room a light and friendly one, what you usually don´t not find in houses of that kind.

The exterior offers a covered place with table and chairs for nice outside dining, when the summer heat is gone. Further equipment: washing machine, BBQ.

Casita Rustica has been restaurated in summer 2006, with much love and nice details. The style can be called modern-rustic.

Summary
Charming small house for two persons seeking quietness and who like the nature. A very good place for hikers as they can start the tours right at the house.

Wood oven. Nice in spring and autumn, but not too suited in winter.
