Legal bases of rentals on Mallorca / ETV

Holiday villas / fincas
"ETV" is a quality certificate of the Balearic tourism board. Since 2007, all holiday houses rented out to tourists offering additional touristic services such as cleaning, personal care during their stay, etc. have to have a permit to do such rentals. An according sign should be attached to the house. All those houses have been checked by the tourism board and meet the defined conditions. Same applies for the "Casas Rurales".

Temporary rental
Apart from the holiday fincas, we also mediate conventional temporary rental of houses, casitas and apartments in the valley of Sóller. No other touristic services may be offered to the tenants by law (see above). The legal base of these rentals is the "law on urban rental" LAU of November 24, 1994.

Long-term rental
Rental contracts with a duration from 1 to 5 years, also based on the LAU of Nov. 24, 1994. If you plan a long term stay on Mallorca or even wish to move to the island, this is the right choice for you.
